Got the Pre job offer
Hey everyone, they offered me a job. The gouge on aviation interviews was spot on. Hardest part was the Jepps review since even though I studied, my lack of experience with them showed. The interviewer was great and seemed to understand that I new my dod and icao charts well, it was just a matter of using the charts more to learn them. I also used a trick that I learned a long time ago. I have a lot of photos from my military experience in my log book and it gave them something else to talk about besides quizzing me. 5 showed up, 1 corporate pilot, 1 small twin corporate female pilot, a Colombian pilot with what I thought was a lot of experience, a USAF C130 pilot and myself. The corporate guy was gone in 15 mins, I guess it was paperwork issue. The female was gone after the HR and tech portion and so was the Columbian. The USAF guy I were offered jobs. I got the feeling at the end of the day that these guys can tell from the beginning whether or not they are going to hire. Just don't shoot yourself in the foot by not preparing or being an ass. As stated above, the interviewers were relaxed and super friendly. The process was a lot less stressful than I expected. Hopefully if what they say is true, I will have a class date in 2-3 weeks and start right away.
Thanks for all of the help.
