I've never been a fan of this statement. There was a similar comparison made with regard to pilot hiring at Virgin America awhile back. The vast majority of Harvard applicants are already the cream of the crop. What would Harvard's admission percentage be if
every college bound senior applied?
Anyway, it doesn't change the point, of course. It's crazy competitive to become an FA at Delta. I just think this particular comparison is misleading.
