The only fast track way I know of is to have a letter of recommendation of a Chief Pilot Level type.
Old CAL way to get this was for a CAL pilot to walk in a resume and talk the candidate up. I can't remember if it was in a Chief Pilot update or from somewhere else, but I heard that the new way is to take the candidate in personally for a meet and greet.
