I have a PIC type in the airplane, and I'm required, when designated as acting PIC by the Captain, to log my PIC time on the release. I desperately need more turbine PIC in my logbook, should things ever go down the tubes.
Will I ever list it on a resume or claim it as PIC in my logbook? Not a chance. Sure, it's legal. But do other airlines consider it to be valid PIC time? Nope.
