From my very brief time in the regionals (I start IOE next week) I can see that something is going to have to be done about the issue of attracting guys to the regionals in order for them to keep their doors open. As has been said the Majors will never have a pilot shortage. Any flow that is created in the future is about attracting and retaining pilots at the regional level so that the majors can have feed. Yes, rumors of a flow abound where I work. I can't say I would complain but until I see the language and can do the math regarding how long it would take me to move move ill still be workng on improving my résumé to find better options.
