You can't sleep in your own bed every night, you miss birthdays, weddings, family emergencies, have to pack your life up and carry it with you every day you are on duty...can't run down to dmv and get your DL renewed on a lunch break, can't plan anything more than maybe a month ahead (and if you weren't able to get a line that had the days off you needed for your sister's wedding too bad). You're lucky if you make 100K but overpaid...are you kidding me?
