The same union (association) that allows members of one pilot group to negotiate jobs away from another pilot group. A union (association) that shall provide equal and fair representation among all its members (but more fair and equal for pilots at the majors). In today's environment it's easy and cheap to maintain currency when your out of work. I don't think currency will not matter in this non competitive industry and I am sure people and others like you will step aside to allow others that take a stand to get hired ahead of you. It's also big at the majors interview, (This pilot showed DAL what it means to be a regional pilot. His pilot group took a stand but failed and this pilot has been out of work and unable to pay to keep up currency. Lets go ahead and hire him anyway.) And besides all that there is soooo many other career fields available even though other highly qualified people have been out of work for years in those career fields. You know, that back up plan we're all supposed to have.
If you don't mind volunteering sir/mam I would like to call ALPA to hire you as a negotiation and career consultant. You obviously have more of a clue then those ignorant and naïve Pinnacle pilots.
It's really frustrating to read this from someone who has a deal to help get them a job at Delta before most others, a deal that they got in a crappy situation but now have an attitude about it.
