I have an interview at Express jet in early Sept. but I've heard that DEN is really senior so that would mean a commute for me which I will not do. I also have an interview with RAH in mid Sept. I have heard that the Q400 in DEN is very senior and they are closing the EMB-170 or 190 base in DEN. Again that means I would have to commute. I have not put in at Skywest because they are only hiring into the EMB-120 which means a commute for me since they do not have a Brasilia base in DEN. I also put in at RAH/Frontier and was told all new hires would be going out to a new base on the east coast and DEN is very senior. Again this means a commute.
So it goes back my original question of what is going on at Great Lakes. Have they stopped all hiring and interviewing? Not that I'm dying to go work there, I just know for me that it would be a good fit since there is no way I will ever commute.
