They don't seem to have a firm grasp on CRJ staffing levels at this time. They also haven't yet figured out what the CRJ staffing needs will be after 1/4/2014. This tells me that they are waiting to see what happens with the contract and whether planes will be joining or leaving the fleet.
They've said that they won't even have software to evaluate FAR 117 staffing needs until late October. By that time it'll be way too late.
