Are you a Pilot or a general employee? You have over 15000 employees. You don't have to concern yourself with the compensation levels of the remaining 12500 lesser trained employees. Why don't you Pilots negotiate industry standard compensation? I don't know how many E190 drivers you have. Seems like it may only be 1700 Airbus guys who need a raise? And, you think this would stop the Airline in it's tracks?

You "are" a Pilot aren't you????

Or, are you? You don't seem to be on the side of Pilots.

Let's see, I'm pro union and want a pay raise. I think that makes me pro-pilot. I am also pro-growth, which PILOTS are the primary beneficiary of. Still pro-pilot.

The 2500 pilots at JB probably make more combined than the other 12500 grunt workers, so our comp is very significant.

Our company recently slowed our growth rate for an mx increase of 31 million. That is a drop in the bucket compared to the increase in pilot costs some of these guys are demanding....

For how many DECADES before 9-11 did SW make less than industry standard? Start-up airlines make less than legacy airlines for A LONG TIME. Period.

Got it?
