I guess directly or indirectly we are paying for it, but I still can't help feeling a little perturbed by the fact DALPA is conducting surveys strictly for ALPA Nationals' own self interests. (Not like that would be a first)
The agenda is not coming from National. The
Delta MEC has decided to address DPA head on. Enough is enough.
Index is too busy to engage in the process and work through his reps to achieve a solution. How is the next organization going to change that?
It is on each of us as individual pilots to participate. If we don't, no system will make you happy. You are seeing the result of a decade plus of poor circumstances. Burning the house down, right as we are pulling out of the dive, is only going to take us back into the gutter.
How does a USAPA 320 Captain making $93 less per hour than a Delta Captain sound? Do we really want to go that route?
