I always have at least 2 back-up flights, and if I have to connect, I have two back ups for each potential connection.

The most tickets I've had on hand when doing an international one-way was 12. 3 different dom./intl. connector cities and 3 tickets a piece in each of those cities to get to the destination. I have always made it out of the initial airport on the same day I started (sure, once, it took 8 hours+ at the airport but it worked).

Do the Spirit ZEDs come in electronic format? That is much easier than paper-ZED.
