I'm sorry, but as a spokesperson representing an organization there are certain indiscretions, comments, and/or actions that require a person to step down and resign. In my opinion, TCs' comments warranted a resignation and a sorry didn't suffice.
Perhaps I'm being a little hard on him, but the comments were just the final straw for me in a long, litany of harsh criticisms.
