Fact: (from JIT and JNC): Not true. Once the list comes out we will update numbers and pay longevity within a couple days. Barring any unforeseen delays and depending on the actual release of the ISL, uHires should be able to bid the next possible bid month’s PBS schedules with their new seniority numbers. Pay longevity may take a little longer since it requires manual data entry but will pay retroactively to ISL release date. Also, unless the ISL award specifies otherwise, uHires should be able to use their new numbers for vacancy bidding soon after the award is accepted by the Company.
I know the UAL MEC has already been working with IT on this. Looks like ALPA MERGER POLICY will prevail and Katz's "Staple 3000 to the bottom" aint gonna happen.
