I put 60k on mine and was hired. They asked me about it in my interview and I told them that I didn't want them to think I was cheap. They laughed and sent me to get my picture taken. Maybe everyone should grow a pair and actually ask for what they want instead of just conforming to the others.
Asking for what you want then accepting for less than half of what you asked for does not constitute "growing a pair". You can pat yourself on the shoulder for getting a laugh from the interviewers
