Well the reserve is typical of any regional. It'll suck and make you hate flying. Once you're a line holder, then life will be 200x better. 97% of the crew are awesome. Training department does a great job. Interview gouges probably hasn't changed much in the past 6 years. If you have the times with no more than 2-3 failed checkrides and a good attitude then you'll be hired. Desk top sim is simple. Just remember to finger fly it. Take off, entry to a hold. ILS approach is what I remembered but that was years ago.
If we get additional airplanes next year then your reserve life will be short and sweet. If we don't, then still expect to hold a line fairly early because 80% of the guys are probably looking for the exit strategy as soon as they can.
