I'll give you an example: A west crew doing a 3 day phx-hnl with a 24 hr layover blocks 12 hours and gets paid 15:45, an east or aa crew doing same would only get 12 hours. So the west pilot is making the equivalent of $181 an hour compared to the east pilots $160.
