Do you even realize what you're saying? As much as I don't like that we're pulling out of a Market, your first post said we (UAL) NEVER did this with SARS, Asian financial crisis or UAL's bankruptcy! Did you ever think that keeping some of these routes is WHY you were in Bankruptcy?! And I would ask a Pan Am pilot but, their business plan went BANKRUPT so why would I? Why didn't you post when they applied for the LAX-CHU? route! (Block hours go way up swapping those two routes, I think?)
