Why didn't you post when they applied for the LAX-CHU? route! (Block hours go way up swapping those two routes, I think?)
Ehh, no. I simply pointed out that this particular route survived a number of challenges over the last 15 years until it was decided recently to down-gauge the service. As a result, the high yield traffic which makes most any international route viable voted with their feet. Our US competitor on that route, who also went through bankruptcy, now has us out of that market entirely. By the way, do you know what you are saying? Block hours go up far more if we add new routes while maintaining the old ones. The reference to Pan Am is apt when you consider our industry bottom margin performance right now.
