The AA presentation is a case in point.
I don't know - so I hope someone who has been around for a few years through the changes (aa73?) will be able to chime in - - - but for instance - after the 'Children of the Magenta Line' presentation occurred did things change in the AA culture? Did the airline, and the traning department, actually start to emphasize the 3 levels of automation and encourage hand flying in certain situations?
I was wondering the same thing after I posted this thread.
