Thanks for that nuggett...it's a great help..the ironic part is that I stzrted my post USAF airline career at Piedmont, which was bought by USAir...when things went south there I left to go to UAL...now things went very south (south pole?) and maybe the last U...UPS is the savior?
Basically, aside from the pension at UPS...it looks like I'll be back at my present CAP pay in year 4 as an FO at UPS...
I'm single,,,no prior lives (or wives)...it's just tough making the decision...but you and beaker and 767 sure help..
One last issue....aside from the 2-300 pilot hires this year...what's the next few years look like...and do you know the number of age 60 retirements coming up?

There's probably at least one (maybe more) former legacy pilot in most new hire classes. So you'd be in good company ...
In our class alone ...
I was at AWA/USAir West ...
Another was a NWA furloughee ...
Also had a early-retired DAL pilot ...
And I think one from AA as well ...
The ONLY regret I can think of, if you want to call it that ... is that I didn't get here sooner. But that's just my 2 centavos ...
