It’s sad when a company such a Jet Blue can not even afford to pay its pilots descent wages so their pilots can locally. That was a major reason for their February disaster. $140,000 and $80,000 doesn’t get you too far up in the Big Apple these days.

Was recently on a layover in EWR and heard on the radio that to be in the middle class in NYC you have to make between $115 to $135K. Thats for MIDDLE class. Any thing else is below the poverty line for NYC.........
