Jumpseating
You can learn alot about the current vibe of any airline by simply jumpseating. My last recent encounter on Spirit was a good one and I sat cabin! Granted..the flight was continuing on to Vegas after DFW but I got a positive energy from the crew and I really like the no-nonsense concept of flying. I think those passengers that belly ache about the experience still also prefer the concept and can likely remain loyal customers as long as the airline can further resolve some of those operational issues mentioned. For now, a smile and a cheery PA can do alot for a delayed passenger.
