It's a B scale, plain an simple. The offer is trash, and shouldn't be considered.
Why would your NC make a deal like this? If you had stood your ground (like each ALPA regional pledged to do with the "no B-scale letter"), then Parker would have had to pay someone what they are worth to fly them. Instead, you have him a get out of jail free card, and screwed the rest of us when it comes to negotiating rates in the future.
Makes it more difficult to argue that our pay scales should go out past 4 years when another carrier has scales capped at 4 years. Add that to GoJets, RP and PNCL (bankruptcy).
PSA has pulled this before; screwing other pilot groups for new airplanes, so this really shouldn't be surprising.
