And it's a B scale for future pilots and those that interview and not hired. You vote this in after the next pilot group is faced with more concessions based on you they will be back and offer you either more RJ or to place everyone on the 12 year scale including senior captains to keep your current fleet size. You give them again specially after they signed a contract 6 months ago and they continue to come back for more. Hesse called the race to the bottom.

The lower the bar, the worse the profession is. As it stands now, the common excuse is Pinnacle as the new standard, soon it will be PSA, then the next who goes just a little bit lower and so on. They will push the envelope as far as pilots will let them push it.
