You all continue to use the term B SCALE incorrectly. This is BY DEFINITION of the ALPA not a B SCALE. What UAL had and AA proposed in the early 80's was BY DEFINITION a B SCALE. Use the words right is all I'm asking. You can call this a pile of GORILLA POO and I dont care. But those who are ignorant and use words like SCAB etc incorrectly in this industry are doing as much damage as an airline setting a bad standard....
A new hire who upgrades by year 2 and never sees year 13 at PSA has taken no pay cut.... You may not like that answer but it is the truth. Now the pilot who is getting screwed would be the year 3-4 FO on property who once we get the first airplane is frozen until upgrade and or the 13-17 year CA who is the same.... Those are the ones getting a punch in the gut. That is for them to decide. However to FALSELY use the word B SCALE continues to show ignorance by this generation of pilots and thus acceptance of using powerful words in our industry incorrectly.
PSA ON PROPERTY CA PSA NOT ON PROPERTY CA
Year 1 60 Year 1 40
Year 2 62 Year 2 41
Year 3 65 Year 3 42
Year 4 68 Year 4 47
That by ALPA and definition would be a B SCALE.
A scab would be one who crosses a picket line.... Although we hate it by definition those who went to GoJets are not scabs. They never crossed a picket line. If you look at CAL you might see a few scabs there that INDEED CROSSED a picket line.... The Spirit strike had a at least two SCAB pilots fly while they were on strike.....
Just use the damn words correctly. Its a POS fine I'm ok with calling it that.....
I'm making a executive decision and calling this a D scale. Who the hell care what you call it, lets call it like it is...its a load of Sh*&!
