Some senior guys are willing to write a pass and allow the junior guy have the jump seat knowing he would have no chance of getting on the airplane in the back based on senority. When the plane fills and the senior guy can't get a seat in the back, he usually finds out about 5-10 minutes before departure, he moves to the jumpseat.
What do you think junior guys - is the senior guy wrong for trying to help you? Or should he just go for the jumpseat and leave you at the gate without hope?
The first thing you guys need to fix is that penny ante BS about charging for non-rev. If Delta can do it free, so can you.
