You really seem to "get it", as far as the hiring process and classy attitude you display.
Delta has hired a slew of former military pilots and I think it's fair to say those making the hiring decisions know that it isn't just about number of hours. They understand the military system, and give credit for quality of jobs held such as leadership positions, etc.
With seven LOR's I'm cautiously optimistic your application will rise to the top. I hope to fly with you, preferably soon. Good Luck!
Thank you! I grew up flying Delta since my father started flying for them in 85 and my mom in 96. I know Delta is a business but it feels more like a family to me since they have paid for my first car, college, house etc.
I know my chance will come at some point, i just hope it's before my old man retires and I pass the interview.
