I worked at an airline with PBS before coming here and I can tell you that the QOL for everyone, including the senior pilots, was worse after PBS. We heard these same promises from our management there on how PBS would make things more transparent, respect seniority and in some cases improve our QOL. Of course none of this turned out to be true. Don't buy the hype that PBS will be good for you if you're in the top 20%. Remember the whole point of PBS is to make schedules more efficient and cost effective for the airline, not the crew force.
