No way to apply because the app window has not been opened.
Expect a sonic boom to be heard when that happens. I hope whoever they are using for the online app (PilotCredentials?) has a lot of bandwidth. The last pilot AA hired was back in Sept 2001 - just to be furloughed shortly thereafter. I would expect 10,000-15,000 apps within the first week. No inside info, but can you imagine being in your mid 20s or early 30s and get hired when the window opens?
That person could be the #1 senior pilot for a decade if not longer.
