Maybe it's how they get their "fix" I hope you don't take my post as an attack. I respect your opinion and and want to respectfully give mine so we can all work together to help each other out!

I'm curious to know what about the contract you like. Someone mentioned the fact that you will have a flow through to a major and I hope the point is made that there is no flow through. It's just an interview. The two are very different.

I would hope, however, that the reasons for voting "no" have been very well made because it seems to me that the best way to improve your paycheck and quality of life is to say no to this contract.

The other great thing is that if everyone votes no then we can improve paychecks and quality of life for pilots at all the regionals! It's an idea and movement that requires everyone to be on board, however. If Eagle says we won't take a concession and then PSA says we won't take a concession (I hope the point has been made that this is a concession with the pay freezes and no flow through), then Mesa says we won't take a concession, and on an on, then we can send a message to management at all airlines. We can send a very powerful and positive message.

Would you agree that you and your fellow PSA coworkers deserve better pay and work rules? If you are worried about the future of your company, look at the financial situation of the US Airways Group. "So if you adjust for that and look at the pre-tax number and look at pretax, excluding special items, what you will see is we had a record $409 million pretax profit for the quarter. We're extremely pleased with that." That is a quote from the 2013 Q2 conference call. You deserve to get a portion of that income. We should be getting raises! The airlines are making money right now. Lots of it. SkyWest Inc reported a profit of 20 million in the last quarter. I will NOT take any sort of concession and I would hope you feel the same. It's a slap in the face of all of us that we don't compensated when our hard work is rewarded with asking to give up more money. You deserve better than that. We all do.

No pilot group will undercut your pay and work rules to get your flying if everyone stands firm and votes no to a contract like the one you are voting on right now. We need everyone to do it. What about this idea to improve our QOL and wages do you not like? Do you not see how this could be a good thing? It's great to see how we can all help each other! If I get offered a concessionary contract like the one you are voting on now, I will be the first one in line to say "no" I will not work for less money just to get flying that was supposed to go to PSA. I know the 3885 pilots on the whipsaw facebook page would do the same and it gives me hope! Lets make it 3886 or 4000 or 6000!

If you are still unsure, I ask you to watch the video:

In the video you will hear exactly how management takes the flying from Eagle (because they said no to taking a paycut and degraded QOL) and now offer it to you with a paycut and degraded QOL. Everyone say no so that management can't keep doing this! They have the money to pay us better. Lets force them to do so!

I look forward to calm, rational and reasoned responses
Great post. This is our goal. It is not impossible to think everyone could stand up for this profession in a time of profit as we now find ourselves.

We hate to see the mud slinging and name calling but there are always those who will react this way when they feel they are not being heard. I can't censor all of the comments on the FB page but some have been removed for just that reason. While it is painful to see people vote yes out of fear, it is understandable as many of us have been faced with that difficult decision. Just know that thousands of us have done the right thing or will do the right thing and stand up to protect our pay and work rules as well as our brothers and sisters at other regionals.

While we would be disappointed to see this get passed, we won't condone blocking jumpseats and such in retaliation for undercutting your own contract and many in your industry.
