Every time I transit ANC there is a 757 or A300 working its way to asia via part 91 for either Maint. or revenue service. These flights are usually being done by 2 sr. flex guys both getting widebody pay and flying under the rules of out CBA. Which means a 1st class ticket back. That is what they are trying to stop.
Now they get off the street capts they can pay him half and buy him a coach ticket back to states or if the get the JS set up the way they want they can DH him back on a 777 or MD.
I am not sure why someone would do that when you can get a SR number with delta airlines in the next year or so.
