Ok, I'll admit I was the jackwagon on that post. As rereading it, it does say "but their longevity increases will be capped at the greater of their current longevity step or at 12 years (for Captains) and 4 years (for First Officers)."
Now where I jumped on that is......why have that in there. If it's not capped at your current longevity step. Why say the greater of your current or 12 yr. Could be a typo, that the company comes back and says. Oh no...in the notes it was meant to be this......grieve it if you don't like it.
I would want clarification on that for sure.....doesn't smell right, knowing how US words it's labor contracts....
