Look, the fact is, if you are looking to make a regional a career, then hit one of the bigger ones, i.e., express jet, skywest...The truth is, flying is what you need if you are looking to return to a major. Most everyone is hiring. Set yourself up at Airlineapps.com, and apply. Look at airlinepilotcentral.com and you will see some useful (and some not-so-useful) information, and apply, apply, apply. Get your currency, get some more time, and get into the majors as they start picking up guys. There are issues with all regionals, but just take the bad with the good, or the good with the bad and suck it up for a while. I'm in the same boat as you.
