About the bolded portion, how do you know this already? The accounts I came across mentioned most made it out by themselves by the time the CFR got there. How many people did the CFRers pull out themselves? Not to mention, of the 3 lives lost 1 was lost because of getting run over by a CFR truck. I think this might be a little early to say anything. So far, all that is known is that they killed 1 passenger in the attempt to save them.
