Listen folks, like I starts, this deal is the proverbial fecal sandwich. The group apprears to be divided (weak) and getting into internets street fights with anybody who posts on this thread. Voting "yes" and "no" both hae valid and real down sides.
I've worked for two wholey owned regionals (PSA was the last) and it really sucked. There is no security because there is no CPA. As the w/o, you are the shock absorber for flight hours as the others hot their limits. IF the number crunchers determine it costs too much to keep it operating or if another carrier can do it cheaper, then the parent company can shut you down. All they have to worry about is some severance packages and the aircraft leases. If they are sub-leased them to the replacements, that's one less thing management has to worry about.
