My pay scale along with those at RAH and Eagle and Mesa, etc, etc. will most likely go down if PSA votes yes. It's a scary thing for all of us! Lets all hold out for raises. It's not out of the question. Roughly $400 million profit in a quarter for the US Airways group is proof that you don't need to take this horrible contract.
I understand that this will be felt throughout the industry in the event of a pass.....

Here is the deal though:

I've already voted. I can't do anything more.

If you don't work at PSA, you can't vote. You can't do anything more.

To continue to get your blood pressure up is going to do nothing more than make you mad for the rest of the day. I enjoy my time off. I don't need to be thinking about how angry this work s%#* gets me. Neither do you all.

Airways didn't go into these meeting saying "we really hate PSA lets screw them." They went in there with a business plan that they are trying to execute. Could part of their strategy be to mislead the pilot group? Yes. It is a game they are trying to win....which is their job.

The point of my original post was that this TA needs to be thought of rationally, and without emotion(thats how management does it). You need to make the decision that is best for you, and not get roid rage over the fact that they asked for concessions.....which, again, is their job.
Yep, always crying for concessions is their job....
However, your MEC should have rejected anything concessionary.
Your company is making mad profits and you're entertaining concessions?
***??
If you can't talk improvements and making your lives better when the company is super profitable then when exactly will your MEC and union grow a pair if not now.
Concessions to make management more profit than they already get off your back while your FO's are on food stamps? Really?
