In other words, being an RJ pilot is a low paying job that isn't a career. Its a job that our industry needs to eliminate. Eliminating the jets is a key part to that.
The 50 seaters are being replaced by 76 seaters and the pilots are going to be told to fly them for the same pay rate or to take paycuts. I have no idea how you consider that a step in the right direction. At this rate we'll be flying 737s for $30/hour pretty soon.
