I was certainly not trying to make fun of anybody's kid, and it my fault for not reading your post thoroughly as I inferred that your kid was in elementary school (I had not completed the first cup of coffee). Therefore, her comment seems very similar to my daughters which is normally what she hears from mom and dad.
So, although not intended to come across that way, I apologize for that.
No problem at all, and thanks for clarifying. I probably got a little defensive anyway. I was also taking a position on an issue, while saying we ought not to be discussing the type of issues... I don't always make my points in the clearest, most explicit way.
