It could be longer if you went at the wrong time, seems they do a lot of other airport medical for various parties (airline, TSA, police, etc) so it's dependent on how many are in front when you arrive. Phyical was a little more involved then I've been used to but still reasonable and nothing like some (non) aviation AME i haved used that were regular practitioners.
One good thing, if you laying over at an airport hotel, there is bus service from the airport to the building on the north side of the airport if you don't have wheels available.
I'd say a good option for anyone laying over EWR who needs a physical and is available during normal weekday hours.
