If the merger doesn't go through, I'm not sure going to US Airways would be much of a step up. Without the merge, both US Airways pilot groups wallow in their past contract as the lowest paid out there by far, hopelessly fragmented and that's not much of a move for most pilots.
Well, actually it would be for PSA pilots as PSA is now Great Lakes with large RJ's. I understand Mesa is packaging the "Walk of Shame" trophy for shipment east. Sadly, all PSA pilots will now be lumped together and the 39% that voted no will be forced to scurry along the terminal baseboards in embarrassment just like their majority brethren as they'll be guilty by association since there's no way to tell one from the other.
My condolences to the honorable 39% as that's a crappy way to spend your remaining time wearing a PSA uniform in the presence of other airline pilots.
