What's your point? I have all the empathy in the world for the "no" voters, but it doesn't change the fact you are part of a union where the majority determined the direction to take the group. all the "no" voters had options to persuade the other side. If there was a question whatsoever as to the outcome of the vote being yes, a push to remove the MEC could have begun immediately. To my knowledge, this didn't happen. I'm sorry if you aren't a believer that the harsh reality is that sometimes there are casualties, hostages, or whatever you want to call them. It sucks, and I wouldn't want to be in the "no" voters shoes, but them's the breaks. Unfortunately, at this point, really the only thing the objectors can do is apologize for the actions of their coworkers. That, and get the ball rolling for an MEC recall, or ALPA decert.
