In my opinion Skywest really doesn't care to much about how much experience you have, or where you have done your flying. I don't think they really care if you can answer every tech question they throw at you...

I believe it comes down to what kind of person are you? Are you a humble person that they can stand sitting in a flight deck with? Are you going to represent Skywest the way they want you to? Are you willing to put aside your ego and learn what Skywest wants you to know?

I say this because I applied as soon as I broke 1500TT. Got a call within a few days to interview. I did slightly above average on the written test, failed the SIM miserably, and only did average on the tech part. I did however keep a positive attitude the entire time, told them I know exactly what I don't know, and asked if they wouldn't mind showing/telling me a correction for those things.

During the debrief they told me that they appreciated that I was open about the things I didn't know. They told me that they seen I was a positive person who would represent Skywest the way they wanted. I was told right then and there I had the job, though unofficaly until word came back from St. George which happened the very next day.

This was my experience. Maybe it will help...Or not...
