Nope. I just helped a fellow pilot jumpstart his car a few days ago, and he had discovered that the new guard shack does not maintain the battery booster pack.

Rather than get fancy with ignition wiring, I have a simpler suggestion for cars with power receptacles that are not powered with the ignition switch off. Purchase an "add-on" power receptacle and run a wire pair directly to the battery. Plug the solar trickle charger in to the new, "always on" power receptacle.

Park the car facing south, set the panel in the windshield at an angle, and leave it as long as you like. Extra points for backing into a parking space on the north side of a lane (to leave more unobstructed space in front of your car).

If you don't "need" constant power for a digital clock or fancy sound system or alarm system or whatever, I also recommend a quick disconnect for your battery if you intend to let it sit unattended for a long time. It's amazing how much juice can trickle out when everything is supposedly turned OFF.
