You'll now look at a 738 and wonder if it's a 739, but you won't be for sure. Then. You'll see a 739 and there won't be a doubt in your mind it's a 739. Kind of like the 752 and 753.
Two escape windows over the wing and now an escape door behind the wing...easy. Plus you look at it and go "that just looks longer," just like the 757-300.
