That's because it's a BS rumor. I seriously only had a 2.02 GPA. Solid C student. Why? Probably because I didn't care to study any harder than the necessary minimum. Had more important things to do, (for an 18 to 21 year old,) like beer and women. Now that the drinking age is 21, maybe I would have done better.
Actually I think it's worse.... I went to college with 21 drinking age, all that does is force the 18-20 yr olds to keggers and unauthorized binge drinking parties where IDs aren't involved. Once you turned 21 it was almost considered lame to show up at those parties, so booze cost a lot more when buying it at a club or bar, hence I drank quite a bit less than the first few years of school before I turned 21.
