Very true, have done a few of those LAX out and backs....pretty miserable if you aren't already well rested heading to work..I've got a 4 yr old up at the crack of dawn, so I'm never at 100%!!!!

And these international trips always kill me heading back.... Good thing though is you(I) can always just bid for some West Coast 3 day ( or 2 day SJC, OAK) and get a nice easy trip with a day to relax... ( which is great for me to take a little break from the home life.

I've done quite a bit of different types of flying... On call, regional, corporate etc.... The type of flying here is pretty relaxed compared to other jobs
