I feel for anyone who has been furloughed. We all have bills that have to be paid and mouths to feed. And I post the following not picking on you or anyone else.
However, many people in my neighborhood and circle of friends (those who have lost jobs, homes, or are still unemployed as a result of the economic slowdown), view this government shutdown and the complaining by government workers as extremely petty.
Sobering Statistic ...
According to the U.S. Department of Labor, as August 2013, a total of 90,473,000 working aged Americans are still not in the labor force.
