Where do you get your numbers? The "original" fleet plan calls for a net loss of 16 airframes by August '14. Your numbers are flawed which essentially challenges the credibility of your entire post.
The initial plan, which has been revised numerous times, called for the 200's to be gone by the end of '15. This number has changed too many times to count. Management even admits it. Not saying that it won't happen, but we'll see. Delta doesn't mess around with their staffing numbers.
