Completely unnecessary if they had just come out and required an ATP and 4,000+ hrs. They literally have no published minimums. All it said was an ATP certificate or an ATP written complete.
Because if you do that, you have ruled out 85% of the military pilots. Why artificially limit your pool when you can just do it through your own filters.
